Priorities
Preparing students for a successful future.
Academic Achievement
Challenging our students to move beyond the bare minimum required by the state of Wisconsin and excelling in the basics of math, reading and writing. Our kids deserve a world class education to prepare them for college, trade school, the workforce or the military.
Parental Involvement
Encouraging parents to be advocates for their children’s education, engaged in the classroom and in the board room. Involved parents require an open and honest school administration.
Curriculum Transparency and Accessibility
Curriculum should be transparent to parents and easily accessible via the family portal and also to community taxpayers upon request. We need uplifting curriculum and library reading material to encourage critical thinking, a strong moral compass and appreciation of intellectual diversity.
Room for Growth
Concerns with school library books.
Parents can now protect their children by using this opt out form for questionable titles and authors in the school libraries. Parents decide. These lists will be updated quarterly.
Explicit sexual content and vulgar.
From swear words, to step by step explicit scenes and violence.
Inappropriate content and mature themes.
Critical race theory topics, scenes and language your middle schooler may not be ready for.
Advanced topics for younger children.
Gender identity, racism and more.
